Technique Hop - "Here Comes the Sun!"

Welcome to the CTMH

June Technique Blog Hop "Here Comes the Sun!"

This month there are 13 CTMH Makers using CTMH products in their artwork to create a variety of projects using the sunburst technique. This blog hop is a complete circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the artwork.
If you are coming from Danielle Wagner's Blog you are on the right track. If you get lost, you can find the list on the bottom of Melissa'a blog.
Here we go!
This is the best photo I could get
- using the Holographic paper
One card, different looks, depending on lighting.
The foil reflects purple/blue in this photo,
though is Rose Gold in person!

Items used:
"You are Enough Paper" and cardstock with Rose Gold Foil accents, Sangria CS.
so beautiful, though the holographic paper does not photo well!  It's absolutely delightful in person!

Two die cuts used:  The Layered Butterfly and Sunburst.
Holographic paper - looks Rose Gold on the card; I thought it was Sunbeam, since it looks more gold, though some photos show it reflects the purple/blue, it actually is  Majestic which does look blue in the catalogue. The mystery of lighting, even the one photo of the pink card took on a blue reflection.

I love the Sunburst/Starburst design [Same format, different name], Now with the CTMH die it's even even faster and easier! I cannot wait to see what others have done. If you do not have the die, you can create a similar Sunburst card with a contracting background found at Sylvia Ames' blog; She calls it a Starburst card

Now hop  on over to Brandi Robinson to see what kind of fabulous "Sunburst" techniques she's created. Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.  I hope you enjoyed this hop.  If you see items you would like to purchase, contact your CTMH Maker or you can SHOP HERE.

  6. Amazing card. I love that you showed how the same card with holographic paper can look so different depending on the lighting.
