CTMH Technique Hop - "Inky Fingers"

Welcome to the CTMH November           Technique Blog Hop "Inky Fingers!"

This month there are 12 CTMH Makers using CTMH products in their artwork to create a variety of projects using techniques often resulting in "Inky Fingers"!  This blog hop is a complete circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the artwork.
If you are coming from Alyson Mayo you are on the right track. If you get lost, you can find the list on the bottom of Melissa'a blog.
Here we go! I cannot wait to see what others have done.

I love inking!  We have so many great ways to ink: duabers distressing the edge of cardstock, our new oxide inks creating backgrounds, smooshing, splatter, sprintz, using ink as "water colors", inking stencils, and the list goes on.  I cannot wait to see what others have done.

I've been playing with our new ink oxides.  For this card I used two techniques;  blending and resist.  I first used the mandala template from stencil pack # 1, inked the inner circle with the Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide, then clear embossed over it and continued to use Mowed Lawn, more Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire from top to bottom including over the embossed center, wiping off the fresh ink from the embossed area.  Framed the card with the Stitched Rectangle Frame Thin Cut. I cut the shaker card using our Happy Birthday Shaker Window Thin Cuts, and added the stickers from our new Serenity Papers and stickers, I absolutely LOVE that paper!!

See the shimmer?
I used the clear shimmer on the flowers with Platinum Stickles in the center.
You can also see the shimmer of the clear embossed center of the circle.
The shaker contains Blue Belle Loose Sequins.
After completing my card, I discovered the we only have the Candy Apple Disterss Oxide available.  Peacock and Mowed Lawn are temporarily unavailable until mid December and the Chipped Sapphire avaiable late November.  Apparently, we're loving inking with the Oxides!
Now hop on over to Wendy Kessler to see what kind of fabulous inky techniques she's created. Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.  I hope you enjoyed this hop.  If you see items you would like to purchase, contact you CTMH Maker or you can SHOP HERE.
