Welcome to the February SOTM Blog Hop ~ Heartfelt Sentiments, a set of 9 stamps!
It will be fun to see stamping inspiration found on this hop.
If you came here from Terry L Metzger's blog you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog: HERE. This month we have approximately 22 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the February SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one!
Here we go!
I'm loving this stamp - Most of my coloring was using our water color pencils. I find coloring and fussy cutting therapeutic, especially when I'm attending a special education conference in Indianapolis and it's -27 & then, when it warmed up to above zero, it snowed! I just didn't have time to complete this challenge before leaving, so I packed some craft supplies for my evening entertainment and this is what I created.

I used our water color pencils for most of my
coloring.
I used our Intense Black ink and stamped the image before I left home so it was thoroughly dried and it held up with the water color brush. However, for the Eggplant flowers, I used the water color brush and picked up eggplant ink squished on the lid creating "Water colors". I fussy cut the first card [I really think that's my favorite], added a little white twine on the next two cards. Card number 2 also has 5 silver glitter gems. I used gold embossing powder on emerald card stock for the 4th card.

ReplyDeleteYou always inspire me. I love the fussy cutting on your first card and the distressing on the second card. Your watercoloring is lovely too. I've been known to take images to watercolor on work trips too. :-)
