Welcome to the October CTMH Technique Blog Hop
For the October CTMH Technique Blog Hop, we will feature the use of tags, Thin Cuts, Tag Kits or any product designed for tags. I'm excited to see the variety of paper crafting ideas that we will find on this hop.
If you are coming from Melissa's blog you are on the right track. In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants at the bottom of Melisssa Robinson's blog. This month we have approximately 9 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the new CTMH Thin Cuts or Tag Kits along with a variety of other great CTMH products. To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one.
Here we go!
There are several options for tags in both the Annual Inspirations and Holiday Expressions. I couldn't decide and only quit when I needed to get some sleep.
So I started with the Cut Above Tag kit Annual Inspirations pg 31 I'm at a water color class at the North Casades Institute so naturally I needed to color in the flowers and and used the tag make a card.
The sentiment is from "Many Congratulations"
The I've always liked the Box Fold Card and thought it would be great to make a card that looked like a gift. I used the Whimsy Paper and ribbon pack. Also used the Thin Cuts - Basic Tags found in the Annual Inspirations page 96.
For the Box Card, I used "The Thought That Counts" Holiday Expressions Pg. 55
I also used, "Season of Sweetness" Pg 40 on the Holiday Expressions. You don't only have to use stamps designed for the tag Thin Cuts - other stamps also fit, such as, "Pince of Peace" pg 56 in the Holiday Expressions. Last but not least, I used the stamp set from our "Share a Smile" special of the month. $7 of each stamp set purchased goes for Operation Smile, helping children around the world providing corrective surgery for cleft lip and pallette. There are 13 adorable critters with 23 "Punny" messages.
Now, hop on over to Debi McBain's Blog to see what kind of fabulous art she's created. Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement. I hope you enjoy the Hop!

This card folds like a box and works great with our double sided papers.
I will post instructions if anyone is interest.

Beautiful tags! Yes, you're going to have to post instructions for the card/box!
ReplyDeleteOK They are very easy, I have one that 4.25 X 5.5 and this one is 3X4 - just right for a gift card. I will post as soon as I get home. I'm currently in the North Cascades by Lake Diablo attending a watercolor class!!! Lots of FUN!
