CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Crazy About Cardstock

Welcome to the August CTMH Technique Blog Hop
For the August CTMH Technique Blog Hop, we will feature the use of our new two-toned cardstock.  I'm excited to see the variety of paper crafting ideas that we will find on this  hop.
If you are coming from Janna Gray 's Blog you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants at the bottom of Melisssa Robinson's blog. This month we have approximately 10 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the new CTMH two-toned cardstock along with a variety of other great CTMH products.  To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one.
Here we go!
(Click on the card for a closer look.)
I hope you like what I've done using "Bashful", this year's color of the year. All our cardstock now has the original color from our palette on one side, while the reverse side has a lighter tone of that same color, giving us greater flexibility as we create. Since I'm on vacation and
forgot most of the cardstock and papers I planned to pack, I was limited with this one color and used both sides to create lots of texture. I love monochromatic, though didn't have the bashful ink with me so used our new Espresso ink. The "Love" sentiment is from the stamp set "What Matters Most" and is found on pg. 68 of our new Idea Book. Both sides of the sentiment are embellished with the new Bashful colored Pearls that come in three sizes. Using the new Thin Cuts - Hearts Borders and our new cardstock provides two choices - a light or a darker shade of the same color, plus a little sparkle from some glitter paper like the new Bashful glitter paper  also adds additional texture. Here are all the color combos found in our new Idea Book starting on pg. 102.
