December Stamp of the Month - Thoughtful Flowers

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

We will be featuring December's SOTM, which is "Thoughtful Flowers", a set of 14 stamps.  If you have come here from Sheila Bennett, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog: HERE

This month we have  approximately 28 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the December SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next on! Here we go!

I'm in love with this stamp set. Love the flowers and the possibilities for what I can do with them.  So here are a couple ideas.
Card # 1

Card # 2

The cardbase is 8 ½ by 4 ¼ scored at 4 ¼. ~ The solid colors measure 3 ¼ X 4 ½, and 2 ¼ X 3 ½.  The largest white layer measures 4 X 5 ¼, the middle size layer measures 3 X 4 ¼ , and the smallest white layer measures 2 X 3 ¼.  Temporarily attach the three white pieces of cardstock with a little adhesive when you stamp, so the paper doesn’t move, and then the images will line up when you put the card together.  You may see gaps in the stamped image, but that is OK.  When you layer in the colored cardstock, it will cover those gaps.

Card # 3

A cut-a-way card

This is a Pinterest inspired card combining ideas from two cards, one by Kelly Achenson the other by Barb Engler. Gold embossed flowers, then I sponged some color across the flowers.  You could also use the watercolor resist technique for a similar effect.

Now "Hop" on over to Alyson Mayo's blog to see her work!  Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas!  Remember, the December's SOTM is only available until December 31!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
