I chose to work with the Penelope Workshops Your Way kit (G1106)  

It makes 4 layouts, and there are also instructions for cards.  

 I just opened the packages and in 30 minutes had a 5 X 7 card of my own design.  

Using the choices of papers, compliments, Washi tape and puffies.
