Seasonal Expressions 1 New Product Blog Hop

Welcome to our
Seasonal Expressions 1 New Product Blog Hop

We will be featuring the new products found in the CTMH Seasonal Expression 1 Idea Book that came out the first of January and is valid through April. If you came here from Brandi Robinson's blog you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog: HERE
This month we have  approximately 20 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the new Seasonal Expressions 1 products and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next on!
Here we go!
For this hop, I'm repeating a second version of a starburst card that's similar to the one I posted yesterday on the CTMH Techniques Hop.  For this starburst card I used a technique by LeeAnn Greff that I found on YouTube.

This card uses a very quick and easy cutting method to create the triangles without waste. Instead of a tedious method of cutting small rectangles into triangles,  I took a rectangle the perfect size for the card (3 x 4) used two papers from Chelsea, layered them, found the center of the bottom edge and cut the triangles using a paper cutter and making sure the center point was on the cutting track.  Besides the Chelsea Gardens paper I also used the butterfly strip of leaves, and sentiment from the Chelsea Gardens Complements.

I also used Chelsea Gardens to make cards  for two other blogs.  Here are links to those blogs.

  4. I love all of these! The starburst cards are terrific - I have yet to make a card in that style but yours are fabulous. I love that the background is somewhat muted and not so bright in this case - it’s perfect for this paper pack.
