This month we have approximately 22 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using the Create Kindness Card Kit along with other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
I decided to use the card kit to make a gift card holder - "card within a card". The card base is Kraft paper, 5 1/2 X 4 1/4. The 3X3 card envelope from the kit was decorated and used to hold the gift card and glued inside the card. For the front of the card, I had fun cutting apart the premade 3X3 cards creating a geometric design. The scalloped edge was created using a corner rounder, and the scalloped circle and oval were cut using the retired Art Philosophy cricut cart. The green ribbon is from the whimsy ribbon pack. The scalloped green circle and oval were cut from the new willow green paper found in the Adventure fundamental collection.
The "Have a Happy Day" and oval stamp are from the "True Love" stamp set. $7 from the sale of this stamp is donated to Operation Smile providing surgeries to repair cleft lips and palates in children.
Now "Hop" on over to Jacquelin Green of Paper Goodness to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, this special is only available September 2016. Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get the Create Kindness Card Kit!

ReplyDeleteVery clever! Those look like palm fronds!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Haley - my first thought when looking at the front of your card was palms. Clever use of the card bases.
