CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Color Your World

For the June CTMH Technique Blog Hop, we will feature "coloring" . There are quite a few stamp sets in SE2 that allow for  coloring which is very popular right now, as you now.  So I'm excited to see the variety of coloring techniques we will find on this  hop.  Will it be water colors, watercolor pencils, coloring with ink pads, reinkers, ShinHan markers, or even paper piecing (that adds color, too).  It's really a lot of fun and the results can be quite amazing.  If you are coming from Melissa Robinson, you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants on her blog right HERE.  This month we have approximately 11 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using one or more technique to add some color along with a variety of other great CTMH products.  To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one.  Here we go!
First, I created my background on Daisy White paper by inking a 2X2 block, spritzing it with water and random stamping in Poppy, Peacock and Saffron, the colors of  the Florence Paper Pack.  I then stamped and colored flowers from Ornate Blossoms (D1687) and Hawaiian Hibiscus (B1527). and fussy cut them.  BTW, the Ornate Blossoms has a Thin Cut (which unfortunately I didn't have with me when I made this card.) After coloring the ornate blossoms with the water color pencils and using the small round water brush (Z3224) to create the painted look. To complete the card, I added Florence zip strips, coral shimmer trim, and
Florence sequins with sparkles in the center.

This design also work well upside
down leaving room for a sentiment

Now, hop on over to Wendy Kessler's blog to see what kind of fabulous art she's created.  Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.  Enjoy the Hop!
