Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!
We will
be featuring June's SOTM, which is "Ice Cream Dream", a set
of 7 stamps. If you have
come here from Nancy Womersley's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog
hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all
around. If you get lost along the way,
you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog: http://ifyoublingit.blogspot.com/p/stamp-of-month-blog-hop-list.html. This month
we have about 50 Close To My Heart Consultants
sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products
on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the
post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
The bokeh technique has apparently caught my fancy! So again it was used on month's card. The top section of this card was inked with Juniper and Lagoon dye ink on White Daisy cardstock and then covered with Daisy White pigment ink circles. Jackson paper was used on the bottom and in the middle I used the brown zipstrip from Jackson with two thin strips of the blue washi tape above and below the zipstrip. The thin blue washi tape is from the Boardwalk Pack. The chocolate on the ice cream is colored with Shin Han BR96 Z2456 Mahogany marker, the cherry is colored with Shin Han R11 Z2448 Carmine and is coated with liquid glass to make it shine. Both the bowl of ice cream and the sentiment are popped up with foam tape.

I tried embossing with clear embossing powder, to create crystal looking bowls, and those 2 bowls turned blue from using the retired embossing pen for hand drawn embossing. I think Liquid Glass works the best.
