ENJOY!!

Just a few of my favorite things.

1.  The new cricuit cartridgeArtfully Sent
(not yet available, hopefully in September)

This collection offers hundreds of card options in standard 5" × 7" and 4¼" × 5½" card sizes in a variety of themes. In addition, you will find sleeve cards perfect for housing photos or gift cards and pocket cards that work perfectly in pocket-style memory keeping or as accents.

2.  Picture my Life

The Picture My Life™ scrapbooking program is a fresh option for quick and beautiful memory keeping. The program includes several individual programs, each one featuring a beautiful assortment of designed cards and a cover page to complement your photos. Each program is based on the gorgeous designs of some of our most popular paper packets. They feature themes from childhood to friendship to travel, but because we have ensured sufficient variety in design and style of each, you can easily apply the cards to other themes.

Each program includes 122 double-sided cards plus 10 unique Memory Protectors™. There are 3 each of Design 3 (Z1950), 3 each of Design 4 (Z1951), 3 each of Design 5 (Z1952), and 1 Side Load (Z1968). On one side of each card is space for journaling, and on the other you’ll find artistic sentiments and icons. Also, unique to Picture My Life, included with each program is a 12" × 12" double-sided cover page that adds a finished and cohesive look to your project with its featured high-quality design.

(especially the cardmaking workshops)

Stay tuned for photos and details.

Everything ABC Blog Hop ~ Letter O

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter "O". This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their "O" element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy .

If you came from "Lauren Moore"  then you're on the right track!

Of course, "O" is for Owl.  I was overjoyed when I realized I own the CTMH August Stamp of the Month which has two OWLS!  I obediently followed the order of the official rules of the ABC blog hop so I could join this opportunity and you could open my post and observe the OWL card I created for this occasion.

The card base is craft cardstock Z1375. Then I added B&T from the Yuletide Carol paper pack X7187B. I layered the owl and message with smoothie cardstock X5763 and colonial white 1388.  I  inked the edges of the smoothie cardstock and using a scissors I distressed the colonial white cardstock.  The stamping was done with black ink Z2105. Then using the masking technique, I sponged smoothie ink Z2196 and desert sand Z2118 to color the owl.  The feather marks on the front of the owl were hand drawn with a brown watercolor pencil 3505.   I used foam tape under the wings. and popped up the "What a Hoot" message.  I added sparkles in the eyes of the owl and the O's of the word "Hoot" from the black and grey assortment Z1754,  Under the message, I used a strip of smoothie washi tape Z1923 and black striped twill Z1988.  The last detail are two black enamel stars Bulk362 .

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is " Jenny Gilbert " of " Jen's Creative Classroom".  In case you get lost along the way…go to Scrappy Therapy for a complete list of participants!

Summer Fun

My how time flies when you're having fun!
So now it's time to post and share some of the fun.
School really got busy the last two months,  I did attend a couple scrap retreats, but didn't even have time to photo and post the projects.  So I'm starting with some quick ideas from my friend Julie Reynolds.  Then get my act together and photograph the projects I'm working on.  Click the link and see what Julie has to share.
