WELCOME to the CTMH
"Anything Goes" Technique Blog Hop
This
month there are 11 CTMH Makers using a variety of CTMH products in their artwork to
create projects showcasing techniques of their choice. It will be interesting to see what each one creates using their chosen techniques.
This blog hop is a complete circle so you can start wherever
you want and continue through to see all the artwork. If you are coming from Cat Nowak's blog you are on the right track. If you get lost, you can find the list on the bottom of Melissa'a blog.
Here we go!
Embossing
- Embossing powder.
- Embossing folders There are so many different techniques to chose from it's hard to decide what to do. Embossing is so easy and the results can be elegant and fun. I started by embossing the Toffee Card-stock, using the Wood Panel Embossing Folder then inked the raised ridges with Toffee ink directly from the ink pad to create a wood-grain background. The flowers and sentiment were both embossed by stamping the image with Versmark and then adding the embossing powders, shake off the extra and heat to melt. The Sentiment was stamped on Velum paper. I used a little of the Mix-in Paper Packet (Jul–Aug) and Mink Twine. Colored the flowers with Watercolor Pencils and added water. The final touch was 3 Gold Glitter Gems and 3 Bitty Sparkles.
Embossed times two.
