I am so READY for a craft day with Friends!!

I've already missed 3 events and need to share some creative time with friends more now than ever.

I have some of the items for this event, however, my bundle will not arrive on time.  No Worries!! I can substitute other papers and stamps. Then when the shipment arrives, I can hit the "replay" and enjoy the fun all over again. 

So what I do have is the schedule and photos of the projects.

CTMH Technique Hop - "Heat It Up!"

Welcome to the April CTMH Technique Blog Hop!

I wanted to do shrinky dinks, and they didn't shrink! I will go back to the drawing board on that one. So plan #2, the heat I used was for embossing with CTMH white embossing on vellum paper. Then colored on the backside with our Tri-Blend markers (Light Green and True Blue). The paper I used was from "These Are My People" and so was the stamp set. The final embellishment was was a short strip of the Gold Sequin Ribbon.

This card uses the "These Are My People" paper, the "LOVE" from the sticker page and the wreath and message from the coordinating "Love These People" stamp set.  I painted the flowers with Carolina Ink and leaves with Green Apple Ink. (just squeeze the lid and pick up the ink that printed on the inside of the lid with a fine time wet brush like our Small Round Water Brush  The close-up below shows the Bitty Sparkles in the center of the flowers and in the Silver Loose Sequins.  I also added some Silver Trim - stuck it to the Paper Trimmer to create thin strips. The final embellishment is the Silver Thread.
