Welcome to the CTMH "Thin Cuts" Blog Hop.
If you came here from Laurel Seabrook's blog you are on the right path!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultatns on Milinda's Blog Here.  This month we have 19 CTMH consultants sharing their creations using CTMH Thin Cuts with other great CTMH products on their blogs.  This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!
When I finished my "Lovely Layers" blog,  I saw so many more possibilities, such as adding the "thin cut" layers and then found they were sold out!  (Another lesson if you like a stamp and/or die get it before it's gone!) I'm madly in love with Budding Peonies, I hope we can get the  thin cuts back into production, but the stamp is still available,  Then I found the Documented Cardmaking Stamp + Thin Cuts  currently on sale under "clearance"; normally $28.95 and now only $7.25!!! WOW!! There are several other thin cuts also on clearance.  Another favorite of mine is butterflies. The Butterfly Friendship Stamp + Thin Cuts is a must have for every butterfly lover. My problem, I know they are somewhere in my craft room, but not where I'm finding them in time for this hop.
I'm now working on PLAN C... using a "thin cut" shaker window and confetti for a birthday card,  added  the stitched hearts,  and used the "Thin Cuts- Block Numbers" for the "9"...
 a Really Quick Card!!

Now "Hop" on over to Kathy Burrows's blog to see her work!  Be sure to visit all the consultants on their blogs to get some great crafting ideas Please leave a comment, we love your encouragement.  To get any of the products you see, contact your CTMH consultant or click here.

Lovely Layers - CTMH Technique Blog Hop

Welcome to the CTMH Technique Blog Hop

The theme for the February CTMH Technique Blog Hop is "Lovely Layers".  This blog will highlight artwork using a variety of "layered designs" in our artwork, layers of papers, clusters of embellishments, or stamp images that allow for layering.

If you are coming from Debi McBain's Blog, you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can get a complete list of participants at the bottom of Melissa Robinson's blog. This month we have 16 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using "Lovely Layers" to inspire their art. To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one.
Here we go!
My choice of layers is the Triple Layered Card.  (5X7)
We have several stamps that work great for the layered look.
I chose to stamp the flowers from Budding Peony D1341.
I also cut the word Blessed with the Cricut and added layers of black and gold glitter paper.   I'm getting this posted on time, though now inspired to continue tweaking this card with a variety of layering options.

Now hop on over to Lauren Moore's Blog to see what kind of fabulous layered art she's created.  Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.  I hope you enjoyed this hop.  If you see items you would like to purchase, contact your CTMH consultant or you can shop HERE.

I'm loving this stamp - Most of my coloring was using our water color pencils. I find coloring and fussy cutting therapeutic, especially when I'm attending a special education conference in Indianapolis and it's -27 & then,  when it warmed up to above zero, it snowed!  I just didn't have time to complete this challenge before leaving, so I packed some craft supplies for my evening entertainment and this is what I created.
I used our water color pencils for most of my coloring.
I used our Intense Black ink and stamped the image before I left home so it was thoroughly dried and it held up with the water color brush.  However, for the Eggplant flowers, I used the water color brush and picked up eggplant ink squished on the lid creating "Water colors".  I fussy cut the first card [I really think that's my favorite], added a little white twine on the next two cards.  Card number 2 also has 5 silver glitter gems.  I used gold embossing powder on emerald card stock for the 4th card.
Now "Hop" on over to Vickie ODell's blog to see her inspiring work!  Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!  Please leave a comment, we love your encouragement.  Remember, the February SOTM is only available until February 28!  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get this stamp set at a discount!
