The card was made with Bashful CS as the base, Raspberry trim, and Bashful Glitter paper. I used white embossing on vellum to stamp the flowers from the "Treat for You" stamp set and raspberry ink to color some of the flowers with a blending pen.
Pink pearls and sparkles finish the card.
On an earlier blog I also used all pink with "Love" (What Matters Most stamp set)
stamped in Espresso ink.
Crazy about Cardstock showing our double sided - two toned cardstock.

Matching Giftbag and Card
Gold embossed butterflies and flowers colored with our watercolor pencils (currently unavailable). The watercolor pencils were blended with the  blending pen  (1/2 price). Paper used was Make Waves and stamped "Thank You" from the Feb. Stamp of the Month in pansy ink. Gold Embossed butterflies and "thanks" are from Chelsea Gardens- cardmaking stamps. The flowers are from Many Congratulations. C1693. The card also has a layer of embossed vellum placed over the pansy pocket plus card - I used the confetti embossing folder, which is
still available on our consultant web sites at a 50% discount. ($4.50)
The vellum was secured under the zipstrip, sentiment, under the white embossing on the card and the corners under the gold glitter gems (@ 25% discount
The giftbag was cut from a 12X12 sheet from the Make Waves paper packet
It was scored at 1/2 inch, 3 inches, 6 1/4 inches, 8 3/4 inches.  On the bottom edge I scored at 2 1/2 and cut from the bottom up to the scored lines to create the box. First glued the long edge along the 1/2 inch fold and glued it inside the opposite open 12 inch edge.  Folded the inside bottom short ends and glued the one 2 1/2 X 3 1/4 flap to create to bottom of the bag. After enclosing the gift, I pleated the top and folded and glued it shut.  I might have punched holes and used ribbon or used staples,
 however, didn't have them available.

Now, hop on over to Michelle Loncar's Blog to see what kind of fabulous art she's created.  Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.  I hope you enjoy the hop!

I didn't have time to make the card prior to leaving for a conference in Naperville, Illinois.  Grabbed some supplies and forgot my scissors!  OH NO!! time for some creative thinking - of course, I can make a card without "fancy cutting" even if that's what I had planned to do.  I thought of some ideas I read on Karen Morris's FB post following the sell-out of Chelsea Gardens Thin Cuts.  The FB thread is a challenge to think positively, being creative to use the lovely stamp set without the thin cuts.
What DID we do BTC (before thin cuts!)?
I chose to use the STOM - sans thin cuts or fancy cutting.
I checked the designs found in the new
Make it from Your Heart: Volume 4 (patterns 15).
Instead of vertical stripes, I decided to make them horizontal.
I clustered 5 of the flower stamps on one acrylic block and random stamped a rectangle (5 1/2 X 2 1/2).  The rectangle was stamped with Nutmeg ink on the light side of the Nutmeg Card Stock .  I cut the rectangle into 1/2" and 1 3/4" strips.  A 5/8th strip of Nutmeg CS was stamped with the leaf border and a 5/8th strip of White CS was stamped several times with the polka dot border strip, then the flower was added. A strip of Blush Ribbon and gold glitter tape cut into narrow strips finished the pattern.  The "Hello" message was stamped on white CS inside the "Monogram Crest" one of our Hostess rewards stamps. (A1217)  The flowers were colored with our water color pencils, (Bubble Gum, Brown Bag and Citrus Leaf)
