Soon to be retired
Diploma Day  B1480
Canary Yellow and Black
at the bottom are some canary stars stamped with
Charming Cascasdes D1668 - also soon to be retired.
With a little black shimmer ribbon for contrast.
I thought it needed something around the edge and added scribbles - I like wild but need a little more practice with controlling that idea!

Now "Hop" on over to Alyson Mayo's blog to see her work!  Be sure to visit all the consultants at their blogs to get some great crafting ideas!  To get any of the products you see, contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here).

CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Shake It Up

Welcome to the June CTMH Technique Blog Hop
For the June CTMH Technique Blog Hop, we will feature the use of "shakers".  I'm excited to see the variety of paper crafting ideas produced using "shakers" that we will find on this  hop.
If you are coming from Annemarie Julian
you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants at the bottom of Melissa Robinson's blog. This month we have approximately 5 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using "shakers" along with a variety of other great CTMH products.  To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go! I created a 75th anniversary card that I needed for a couple we've know most of our married life which this year was our 50th. I discovered the color for 75 is "white diamond" so I used the clear shimmer brush on white daisy and for the "confetti" I folded the White Shimmer trim on itself, colored some of it with thistle ink and then punched stars.

This view shows the glitter from the shimmer brush.

I found instructions on pinterest for the shaker card.
Here's another Idea I found, though didn't use.
silica packages - dye them with reinkers to use in shaker cards (Oct 22, 2013)
Color the Gel with Reinkers

Now, hop on over to Michelle Loncar
to see what kind of fabulous art she's created.
Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.
I hope you enjoy the Hop!
