CTMH Technique Blog Hop - Fun with Stencils

Welcome to the July CTMH Technique Blog Hop
For the July CTMH Technique Blog Hop, we will feature the use of "stencils".  I'm excited to see the variety of paper crafting ideas produced using "stencils" that we will find on this  hop.
If you are coming from Judy Faye's Blog you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants at the bottom of Melisssa Robinson's blog. This month we have approximately 9 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using "stencils" along with a variety of other great CTMH products.  To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go!
I created a stencil using an overlay from the Cricut Cartridge Artbooking, then sponged sorbet and used sorbet to stamp the sentiment "It's Your Day" from the Jack Cardmaking Stamp set C1678.  I cut an oval that matched the oval of the overlay and used foam tape to pop it up.
REALLY FAST and so SIMPLE!!
You don't need to waste the  overlay.
I just flipped it over and used it to make a second card.
Now, hop on over to Danielle Wagner to see what kind of fabulous art she's created.   Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.  I hope you enjoy the Hop!

I'm excited to see the variety of paper crafting ideas  produced using Stampaganza Stamps that we will find on this  hop.  If you are coming from Vickie ODell you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants at Melinda's blog. This month we have approximately 11 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using "blast from the past" stamp sets available only this month along with a variety of other great CTMH products.  To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go!

For my Stampaganza CTMH Special, I chose to use "Say it All" (C1632), "Friend" (A1142), "You Only Live Once" (B1434), and "Paper Bird" (C1613) to make a card for my BFF.
Top image is my second "re-do".  I stamped Tangerine with rock-n-roll Sorbet on white daisy vs. Sorbet stamped on Sorbet cardstock in an effort to soften the look.  I also rearranged the flowers, butterfly and message so it was a better "fit" and added more "forget-me-not" flowers. On the second redo, I used the Sorbet butterfly so the lone flower didn't look so much like an orphan.

Re-do # 2
Re-do # 1

No Worries paper, Lagoon and White Daisy
Sorbet and Lagoon Flowers.
