I used the Workshops Your Way Here for You Card-making Kit to make a Box Card.

I added some flowers and the "Sending Sunshine" sentiment from the Flower Market Cartridge.

Currently only two of the Card-making Workshops Your Way are still available.

Welcome to the April CTMH Technique Blog Hop
For the April CTMH Technique Blog Hop, we will feature the use of vellum.  CTMH has vellum in the Uptown Fundamentals paper pack.  I'm excited to see the variety of paper crafting ideas produced using vellum that we will find on this  hop.
If you are coming from Michelle Loncar
you are on the right track.  In case you get lost, you can also get a complete list of participants at the bottom of Melissa Robinson's blog. This month we have approximately 8 Close to My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using vellum along with a variety of other great CTMH products.  To enjoy this hop is quite simple to do - just click on the link at the bottom of the post on each blog to move to the next one. Here we go!

I embossed the  vellum with gold and colored the backside with our ShinHan markers.  Did you know you can emboss and color vellum.  I saw this on the a tutorial which I cannot locate, but have a couple others.

You can shade and blend the colors if you quickly smudge them with your finger (first tool ever).  Place the glue dots under the the embossed areas to hide them.

Now, hop on over to Wendy Kessler
to see what kind of fabulous art she's created.
Be sure to drop a comment, we enjoy the encouragement.
I hope you enjoy the Hop!

Everything ABC's Blog Hop - Letter F

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter "F".
This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.
Whatever the crafter has chosen as their "element" will be featured in their post.
If you came from Jenifer Benner of Jen's Messy Studio . then you're on the right track!
I hope you enjoy the "F" inspired expressions of creativity.

My letter "F" inspiration is the Fun Fanfare Fancy Fold Card.
This is a Pinterest inspired card with a great photo tutorial found on Lyssa's blog

Card closed

Open card has one panel for a message plus it's on a base that opens from the bottom, is able to stand and has more space for another message.
Standing - the accordion folds pop out.
Card base = top folded 5.5 X 4.25
Accordion folded layer - 4.25 X 11
scored and folded at 1.5, 3, 5.5, & 8 glue the largest section (4.25 X 3) to the center of the card base.  Add decorative panels 4 X 1.25, 4 X 2.25 and 4 X 2.75
leave blank or use a neutral panel for a message 4 X 2.25
I used the Sugar Rush paper pack and the Sugar Rush Cardmaking Thin Cuts Bundle

The next person in this blog-hop loop is Lauren Moore of CTMH Craftings.
I hope you enjoyed the inspirations and will encourage us with some comments.
