The Everything ABC's Blog Hop - Letter "C"

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter "C". This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their "C" element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy

If you came from Shelly Nemitz - Just One Pretty Piecethen you're on the right track!

This week we feature the letter "C".  I'm Crafty Happy and my "C" is of course for crafting with cohorts, for camaraderie using Cricut Cartridges, cardstock, chevrons, charms and chalk it up patterned paper.  I also cherish creating cards for times of celebration, for Christmas, and sentiments of comfort. I used the Cricut Cartridge. Artist to create the mini album.  It's a work and progress and I'll post the cover and finish the inside after I get some sleep and then add the details of the inside pages. I'm enjoying the challenge of thinking outside the box and maybe you have some suggestions. I'm going to use this mini album is to illustrate the reasons I'm Crafty Happy through the use of various techniques, Picture My Life, My Crush Assortment and Base and Bling Style sheet stickers.  Sorry, I only had time to complete the cover.  Some of the pages are almost finished.  I just wish I could play with paper all day .

After you C what I come up with in my Crafty-Happy Studio, your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is DianaSaunders ~ Farner Di Stamps.

In case you get lost along the way…go to Scrappy Therapy  for a complete list of participants!

I hope you've enjoyed all the creative inspiration on this blog-hop. Be sure to leave a comment.
Plan to join us for letter "D" in two weeks.

Everybody's Got One. A Story, that is.

Today I'm sharing a post from a blog that was timely for me at this moment in my life.  I don't recall how I stumbled on it, but do believe it was God-directed to inspire and connect me with a ministry that has been peculating in my life for some time. Now as I anticipate retirement and will have time available, my hope is to create a photo storybook relating those critical events in my life that formed me to be the person I am.  I want my children and grandchildren to know and to understand some of the truths that have been important to me, such as: The joy of the Lord is my strength; This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it, and that I need to be open to God's reminder: "Be still and know that I am God."  God has a plan and that plan is a story to be told.
P.S. Ok,, I get it!  I just remembered I've heard Allison speak before and it was less than a year ago at the GEMS girls' club Annual Conference in Grand Rapids Michigan July 24-27, 2014. Now I'm laughing that I really need to start this scrapbook as a personal reference so that I can remember what I've done! LOL

Here is the original blog posted by Allison Allen

EVERYBODY'S GOT ONE.
A story, that is.
There’s not a person you will ever meet who isn’t telling some kind of story with their lives. As Christ-followers we’re telling a story with our lives, too.
Our story is a divine story; One that’s being written through our daily actions, our devotions, our disappointments, our dreams, and most essentially, our faith.
It’s an epic tale penned by God Himself. Scripture trumpets this truth: “All my days were written in your Book before one of them came to be.” In the New Testament Jesus is called the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Imagine that - Christ as the Ultimate Author, and, we – part of the story He is telling.
So, as believers, exactly how do we manage to tell a better story with our lives? How do we interact with the characters, friendly and otherwise, that we encounter? How do we adjust when we’re blindsided by a plot-twist we didn’t see coming? How do we reflect the Author in the nitty-gritty of everyday life? And, finally, how do we encourage others to see the divine fingerprints evident in their own stories?
That’s the journey I am passionate about taking with God’s women. As a teacher, story-teller, and dramatist, I want to encourage us all to dare to tell a better story with our lives.
Ready to jump in?
Ready to turn the page?
Ready to tell a better story with your life?

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop - Letter "B"

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter "B". This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their "B" element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy

If you came from "Shalana Glass - Scrappin' with Shalana"  then you're on the right track!

What will I do for the letter "B".... There's Base and Bling.  I love the choices we have and how simple they are to make.  Then I also love the Blush paper pack, the Big Hug stamp set; I've been wanting to use the Brushstrokes stamp set, and it actually arrived today.  Plus, I really need to make some Banners.  How about a Baby card with Bodacious Banners.  HMMMMMMMmmmm  So many choices; so little time!

Base and Bling

The Base and Bling products are amazing.  I'm able to create a reasonably priced gift in a matter of minutes.  The necklace is made with the faux antiqued gold chain (30 inches) with a 2 inch extender and embellished with the Dreamer and Signature charms.  The "Be True" pendant is from the Journey Style Sheet. The "Believe" is from the "My Crush"| Holiday Happenings Assortment.  It's one of the stickers. The Bracelet is made with the Faux Antiqued Silver Oval Wrist Cuff and the sentiment "Peace" is also from the Journey Style Sheet.
(The zipper pull and gold ribbon are not CTMH.)
Click on the image to order online or click Base and Bling products to see all avalable items.
Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is "Jenifer Benner" of "Jen's Messy Studio".

In case you get lost along the way…go to Scrappy Therapy  for a complete list of participants!

I hope you've enjoyed all the creative inspiration on this blog-hop.  Plan to join us for letter "C" in two weeks.
